Time To Get Away

Hi there, sure it was a time to get away after that great Sunday of cultural vibrancy, and get away I did, went to Bristol, and that place was indeed a good follow up after Emancipation Sunday with the Berbice Crew, it was great to visit another port of history, and that is Bristol for real, it was just cool.

Best of all was crashing out on the journey and the sleep was good, anyway, Bristol was nothing like London, on the rush, it was cool and this producer had some good time to take in the sights and historical values of this little town, nice place to live if you are looking for some quietness and friendly people too, anyway I let my camera do the talking, and just thought if you never been up there, then I think you should, it is a one off check out I was even caught holding some signs to control the drive through traffic regulations in the area, what a sight, and I heard they are supposed to be building a Marriot Hotel in Guyana, well this producer wanted to to know what the Marriot was all about, and I see the building in Bristol, well, lawd, what a sight they guyin far far, I gone ketch youh later I gone bout meh bussiness.

The Berbice Crew-They Survived

Hi there , yes , here I am once again keeping you alive with what happened over the past couple of days, yes, indeed it was hectic, because this weekend past Saw the Emancipation happening and there were three events or four, somewhere along the line it was a clash, but this producer decided that he will stay closer to home and after having a few connections with the Berbice area decided that was the turf to setltle on.

And I had no reguet, it was a nice lil thing, and the quech quech, and seeing all them nice lil people from Berbice and else where, was a goood good feling, but Marcie and the girls, and Mr Mingo, they tried their best and you know what -I like it, so I goin again next year, and if you miss it this time, and Soca Devil blast the music too, then next year -Emancipation time, August, get out and get the true Guyanese feeling, this was a small but sweet package, that you should not miss at all .

Anyway since you miss the picnic, I got fuh give you Lass lick. and you want fuh see wha happen, well you aint fass, I gon give you a peek, so next year, you better hise yuh self and come, so I gone fuh now, notice I talkin to you all in creole, duh is Guyanese style, anyway look at wha happen on Sunday, and next year you got to come, because all ah we is Guyanese and it was a nice thing fuh get togtha.
