Lets Make Guyana A Happening

Sure its Summer and what else can we think of, but tropical issues, and some great places to go, bet you never thought about Guyana, this beautiful Paradise, that is hidden in South America formely a British Colony, never the less even though it is considered to be a part of the Caribbean, it is unique in many ways, think about the culture, and most of all the food, different to the max, Black Pudding, Souse, Cheese Rools, and Cow Heel Soup and Guyana Rum, even though I have left here many years ago there is something that unusual about the place, I was there in 2008, and it was a great adventure, could not help but lavishing after the food for one thing, so out came my Camera, and what happened , you are so right i became hooked on the beautiful scenery, the people , its culture and more, just could not get enough, and most of all the history, what struck me most was the people, it was just as though the sun was shining even though it was raining, love , a friendly face and smiles all the way, but guess what I went deeper and instead came up with the most unusual pieces of music that was once produced by Guyanese String bands over the years, bands like the Rythmaires, Combo Seven just to name a few, the sixties era that was a blast from the past and images that just kept coming back, so from that I came up with this Fantistic DVD production which I called the Definitave Collection, just Guyanese Nostalgia, the days of Radio Demerara, and those old British Guyana Days, want to know what it looked like then, I tell you what, check out the DVD, it is a blast from the past, Gosh I gotta go, will tell you more when we meet to continue this Journey down Memory lane, musically that is, have a great day and oh by the way Remember The Good Times and those Good Old Days its worth the walk down memory lane,- And the Guyanese Saying I gwine com back soon.
