Time To Celebrate

Hello all , well well funny how time flies when you are having fun, and that is exactly what has happened to me, I got caught up in the act, I just could not believe how quickly the days went by and we are at the end of the month already, and you know what- it is August- and that is a big celebration month.

In Guyana it is Emancipation Day, beginning of August lots of cultural happenings and the like drums and more drums, creole foods and all it is a big big bachanal in the place, anyway what is happening here inthe UK, is summer time as wel and that is when everybody -feeling hot hot hot , and guess what, we have Emancipation Day celebration too, Big Bachanal on Sunday the 8th At the Maderia Lesuire Centre in Surrey Maderia Way, last year it was the first time the Berbice crew held the thing, Marsie and them girls and it was nice nice nice, man yuh feel like yuh home in Guyana.

they had the music, and the food was original, Cassava pone and them things, they had a Souse, god that thing was finga lickin good, I could'nt get enough, it was sweetness in my weakness, Lord Have Mercy, and this time they doin it again, and to tell you more there was heavy Quech Quech dancin and all that, see the Berbice dance really Guyana Style, it was a great comin together of Guyanese on a cultural vibe.

So this year is the Second one and I goin, I had on my African outfit and ting, ,an it was a real real nice party, and they only tek two pounds to come in and they had all them ring games and thing for the children to take part, So if you miss it last year, you got a chance to ketch it this year and it going to be bigger too, by the way if you think I lyin, nah nah , this producer dont lie I got the evidence plenty plenty, check out the pictures and tell me if you goin to miss this year, so I lookin forward to seeing you all there, in fll force and leh we dance the dance and chant the chant and have a Big Emancipaton party, wel I got to run because I got couple things to get ready for the 8th comin up, but I will check you out as it get closer and remind you in case you forget, but in the meantime checkout the piuctures we tek from last year, and tek it easy till I come around the corner again, I gone for now nuff love to all the family.
